The Curriculum
A new statutory framework came into effect September 2021. The EYFS framework sets the standards that all early yearsproviders must meet to ensure children learn and develop wellfrom birth to 5 years. If your child has attended nursery or a childminder they willhave worked within the EYFS Framework. The reception yearcontinues with the same framework. From Year 1, the NationalCurriculum is then followed.
The new framework aims to improve outcomes for children, particularly in the areas of language and literacy.
