Welcome to Dodford First’s “Meet the Governors” page. Our Governing Body plays an important role in supporting the school to provide a safe, caring and high-quality education for all pupils. Governors bring a range of skills and experience and work closely with the Headteacher and staff to help ensure the school continues to improve year on year.

Governors are committed to understanding the needs of children and families at Dodford First. They review key information about school performance, consider feedback from parents and carers, and help guide priorities such as learning, wellbeing and safeguarding. While day-to-day teaching and leadership are led by the school team, governors provide oversight and challenge where needed, always with pupils at the centre of decision-making.

We value strong partnerships with parents of primary-age children.
